The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) recently held a ceremony to honor and celebrate the exceptional achievement of students who attained a remarkable feat on the March Scholarship Exam. These outstanding individuals demonstrated academic prowess, earning themselves a 100% scholarship for their studies at IUS.
The ceremony was a momentous occasion marked by a sense of pride and accomplishment as these bright minds were recognized for their remarkable achievement. Among the highlights of the event was the certificate award ceremony, where each deserving student was presented with their well-earned certificate of scholarship.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome speech by the IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım. In his address, Dr. Yıldırım praised the remarkable talents of the newly awarded scholars, acknowledging them as the model of excellence in their generation. Dr. Yıldırım further highlighted the significant role played by the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF) in making top-quality education accessible to students in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thanks to SEDEF's generous scholarship scheme, a majority of students in the country have the opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations at IUS. These scholarships, which are valid for five years of study, serve as a testament to SEDEF's commitment to nurturing future leaders and fostering educational excellence.
