With an aim to present its faculties, study programs (both undergraduate and postgraduate) and scholarship opportunities to prospective students, their parents and Bosnian public in general, International University of Sarajevo organized the IUS Open Day on Saturday, May 15, 2010. For all those interested, doors of the IUS new Campus were opened from 10.00 to 18.00.
The event kicked off with the welcome speech by the IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Hilmi Ünlü in which he introduced the University. After the speech, tours of the Campus premises were organized for all visitors. Visitors had an opportunity to see the different laboratories, classrooms, library and other IUS facilities, as well as meet professors, program coordinators, students and administrative staff who were ready to answer any questions guests might have.
Visitors were also given various IUS promo materials specially prepared by the Visual Arts and Communication Design Program. Two days later, on May 17, 2010, IUS was also visited by a group of high school principals from Turkey. Presentation of IUS study programs and faculties was prepared for them as well.
