IUS Participates in the 4th NATURED Project Partners’ Meeting in Montenegro

NATURED Cetinje

The 4th partners’ meeting of the NATURED project was held on May 13–14, 2025, in Cetinje, Montenegro. The meeting was hosted by the Agency for Development and Business Support of Cetinje and brought together representatives of 12 project partners from nine countries of the Adriatic-Ionian region.

The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) was represented by Dr. Ismar Alagić, NATURED Project Manager at IUS, who took part in the two-day meeting dedicated to reviewing project progress, partner responsibilities, and upcoming activities.

During the comprehensive program, participants discussed the work plans of all 12 project partners and held a meeting of the project Steering Committee. Special attention was given to the pilot projects planned for the different areas included in the NATURED project, with partners exchanging information on implementation steps, expected outcomes, and coordination mechanisms.

As part of the meeting, participants also visited pilot project locations in Montenegro, including Rijeka Crnojevića and Lovćen National Park. These visits provided an opportunity to better understand the local context and the practical dimensions of the project activities.

The meeting concluded with an agreement on partner responsibilities for the upcoming period, as well as the importance of maintaining regular communication and information exchange among all project partners.

It was also agreed that the next project partners’ meeting will be hosted by RRA Severne Primorske from Nova Gorica, Republic of Slovenia.
