The week of quality workshops that aimed to prepare our University for the accreditation process was sucessfully finished on Saturday, September 5th with the close up session that included comments from attendees on the workshops and presentations.
To mark this event and show our appreciation, main lecturer of the workshops prof. dr. Bahattin Karagözoğlu from the King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia received a special tokens of honor from the IUS Rector Prof. Dr. B. Gültekin Çetiner and Dr. Muhamed Hadžiabdić.
The program of quality workshops started off with the public conference „Recent Challenges in Education“ held on August 28th and continued during the week of August 31st and September 5th. Some of the topics of the workshops included Design and assessment of courses for the outcome-based education, Accreditation requirements for engineering and allied programs, Revising resources and establishing the need for academic accreditation, etc.
Workshops were attended by the IUS Rector, Vice Rector, Deans, Program Coordinators, Academics and Administrative staff.
