Turkey-BiH Armed Forces Friendship Day was celebrated in the Army Hall of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, December 9, 2021.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Defense of BiH Sifet Podžić, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH Lieutenant General Senad Mašović, the Turkish Ambassador to BiH Sadık Babür Grigin, the Military Attaché with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Brigadier Mustafa Sıtkı Tatar, representatives of Turkish institutions and organizations in BiH, numerous members of the armed forces of BiH with their families, representatives of the Turkish military mission and other guests.
The ceremony started with Turkish and Bosnian national anthems and then the Military Attaché with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Brigadier Mustafa Sıtkı Tatar addressed the audience. Mr. Tatar welcomed all the guests and said that the Armed Forces Friendship Day between these two countries had already become a tradition.
In the end, a prize contest was organized and the luckiest winners got very valuable prizes. The Rector of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) Prof.Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım also presented valuable prizes: scholarship certificates for two lucky winners.
