DIPLOMA EQUIVALENCY REQUESTS OF OUR FACULTY'S FIRST GRADUATES ARE APPROVED
Diploma equivalence applications submitted by the first graduates of the International University of Sarajevo Faculty of Law to the Council of Higher Education of Turkiye (YÖK) were evaluated within the framework of the provisions of the Regulation on Recognition and Equivalence of Foreign Higher Education Diplomas. As a result of the evaluation, our graduates were informed that they would be entitled to diploma equivalency, provided that the courses related to the Turkish Legal System determined by the Board are successfully completed, as requested from all other foreign law faculty graduates.
Our students, whose diploma equivalency applications are approved, will state their preference of three Turkish state universities which have a Faculty of Law in order to complete the courses determined by YÖK and will be placed in a university approved by YÖK. Their diploma equivalence will be approved when they successfully complete the courses they are expected to take. It is with great pleasure that we present this good news to our graduates and registered students and wish them a happy 2022 full of health, happiness and success.
