On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) opened its doors to hundreds of ambitious high school students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries during its annual Scholarship Testing and Open Day. This exciting event offered prospective students a unique opportunity to discover IUS firsthand - exploring its academic programs, touring the modern campus, and engaging with professors and current students.
At the core of the day was the highly anticipated scholarship exam, made possible by the generous support of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF). Students had the chance to earn scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition fees, guaranteed for five full years - a significant advantage that makes high-quality education at IUS more accessible and affordable for families across the region.
One of the highlights presented was the prestigious Double Diploma Program, offered in collaboration with three top-tier universities in Türkiye: Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul University, and Marmara University. This unique academic path enables students to study two years at IUS and two years at a partner university in Türkiye - graduating with diplomas from both institutions, and enhancing their career prospects across borders.
