On Monday, September 30, 2024, the Graduate Council of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) held an Orientation Meeting for Master and PhD students.
The students were warmly welcomed by the Director of the IUS Graduate Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Emir Hambo, who wished them success as future MA and PhD experts in their respective fields. Dr. Hambo reassured the students that IUS academic and administrative staff are fully available to support them throughout their academic journey. He concluded by wishing them good luck in their upcoming academic endeavors.
Graduate Studies Specialist, Ms. Merima Drinjak, then addressed the attendees, focusing on the technical aspects of their studies. She stressed the importance of following MA and PhD study procedures to ensure a smooth academic experience. Ms. Drinjak also emphasized IUS’s zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism, encouraging students to maintain academic integrity while writing their papers, theses, and dissertations. She assured the students that the IUS Graduate Office would provide ongoing support throughout their studies.
The meeting concluded with a networking session over coffee, tea, and refreshments, where students and staff had the chance to connect, build relationships, and create valuable friendships.
