Students of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) participated in the five-day training rescue from natural disasters in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) in the period from April 22nd to April 27th, 2013.
The training was organized by the Council of the international universities for research and rescue (International Universities Search & Rescue Council) in coordination with the Organization for Civil Protection (Civil Defense Organization).
By participation of students in this training our University has become a member of the Council of international universities for research and rescue, and our students who participated in this training have gained the right to participate in the rescue exercise with other university students and members of the Council in the next calendar year of 2014.
