On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the President of the IUS Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Sevgi Kurtulmuş, and the President of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF), Mr. Hasan Topaloğlu, paid an official visit to Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. They were warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci, Rector of Boğaziçi University.
The purpose of the visit was to establish formal cooperation between the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) and Boğaziçi University through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement will lay the foundation for joint academic initiatives, student and staff exchange programs, and collaborative research activities between the two prestigious institutions.
The meeting marks another important step in IUS’s ongoing efforts to expand its international partnerships and create new educational and research opportunities that connect Bosnia and Herzegovina with leading universities in Türkiye and beyond.
