IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Mayor of the City of Sarajevo, Dr. Benjamina Karić on October 28, 2021. The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to upgrade the quality of education in Sarajevo by using the existing resources and funding to enhance and further develop educational opportunities in the City of Sarajevo.
During the meeting, both parties expressed their wish to establish stronger ties between the International University of Sarajevo and the City of Sarajevo and thus allow implementation of various fruitful projects.
The Mayor, Dr. Benjamina Karić, who is also currently a member of the teaching staff at the Faculty of Law at IUS, expressed her willingness to make available all the capacities of the City, including the City Library and other research facilities for educational purposes, especially when it comes to organizing conferences, workshops, trainings and joint events.
