Investment and Portfolio Management Class Visits Sarajevo Stock Exchange

Students from Investment and Portfolio Management class of the Faculty of Business and Administration at the International University of Sarajevo, lead by Assistant Prof. Dr. Šejma Aydin paid an insightful visit to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.

The students were warmly welcomed by the Sarajevo Stock Exchange team, Mr. Almir Mirica, Executive director, and Mr. Ahmed Hodžić, Head of the Trading and Surveillance Department, who graciously shared their knowledge and presented the intricacies and challenges faced by the exchange. The students gained valuable insights into the functioning of a stock exchange and the dynamics of the financial market. During the visit, discussions centered on the future steps the Sarajevo Stock Exchange plans to take to overcome its current obstacles.

Mr. Almir Mirica and Mr. Amhed Hodžić engaged in an interactive session with the students, encouraging them to participate and share their ideas actively. They also generously imparted investment advice to the students, shared their expertise, and provided valuable insights into the world of investments, offering guidance on making informed decisions in the ever-changing financial landscape.
