Sarajevo, June 15th, 2009
The first IUS Spring Fest took place on Monday, June 15 at the University parking place. All IUS students, academic and administrative personel took part in the event. Students and professors participated in various socio-cultural and sport activities, competed in teams and individually. Spring Fest included events such as: drama, music competitions, fine-arts contests, quiz, and sports: soccer, rappelling, and volleyball. Most attention during Spring Fest received: tug of war and rappeling. Students from the VACD and Architecture programs, Photography club, and English departments, as well as other talented students displayed their arts and works. Female students from FASS organized fundraising by selling food to attendees. Overall, it was a great opportunity for all participants of all ages to meet, compete, enoy and have fun. IUS Spring Fest will become regular annual gathering that will be taking place in the month of June.
