First Balkan Congress titled "Change in the Balkans since 1990. year" was held at IUS

The International University of Sarajevo, with a large number of renowned speakers, interested participants and distinguished guests, First Balkan Congress titled'' Change in the Balkans since 1990. year'' was held on 20 and 21 April 2012th in Sarajevo.

At the first Congress, the main task was to explore experiences of Balkan history review and assessment of the current situation. The aim of the congress is to connect the new mission and vision with new methods and trends, and gather participants, students from different universities.

Congress aims to also provide a means for understanding the foreign policy of Turkey to the Balkans, with emphasis on Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to more stable relations among the Balkan countries.

The Congress was opened by a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, BA. Ešref Kenan Rašidagić and CEO of Bosna Bank International (BBI) Amer Bukvic.

This two-day event, which is planned to continue to maintain an annual basis in future, will be organized in cooperation with the Parliament of students IUS (SPIUS), entrepreneurs Club International University of Sarajevo (IUS EPSC), Association for the Study of International Relations (IRSA ), Educational Center for Democracy and Human rights Civitas BiH.
