International University of Sarajevo (IUS), as a leading and successful higher education institution is actively working on strengthening the quality of teaching staff at all faculties and study programs. Currently IUS employs more than 100 professors and lecturers. In order to meet the demands and offer quality in education for a growing number of students in all three study cycles with increase of lectures, active projects and research, IUS decided to strengthen its academic potential at the Faculty of Law (FLW) by employing new professors and lecturers from the region and abroad. The main purpose of the Faculty of Law (FLW) is to promote the science of law with an emphasis on current knowledge that includes theoretical, historical, comparative, sociological and economic approaches. All these lead to simpler and faster understanding of application of law.
Assoc. Prof. Dr İbrahim Dursun is appointed as Acting Dean of the newly founded Faculty of Law (FLW). He graduated in 1993 at the Dokuz Eylul University and completed his Masters degree at Afyon Kocatepe University in 1995. In 2002 he completed his PhD at Dokuz Eylul University. He has published a large number of scientific papers and professional articles. He taught Obligation law, Labour law, Trade law, Tax law, Public finance, Public budget etc. As well as this, he held lectures at other prestigious universities and educational institutions in Turkey such as Afyon Kocatepe University and the National Police Academy. Prof. Dursun will be of the essence to the development of the Faculty of Law (FLW) in sharing his extensive academic experience and knowledge with all Faculty's students. We are also pleased to present another three new academic members of the University and lecturers at the Faculty of Law. They will start teaching in the new 2015/2016 academic year:
