On Monday, October 13th, 2014, the Ambassador of Pakistan, HE Muhammad Yousaf visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). This was his first visit to the University since his appointment as Ambassador of Pakistan to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Ambassador was welcomed by IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and his associates. This visit was implemented in order to introduce the University to country of Pakistan and to provide development of future cooperation in the terms of regional and international level. Ambassador Yousaf said that he is truly glad to have the opportunity to be at IUS and become more familiar with the work and activities of this institution.
During the meeting, he expressed his satisfaction with results and achievements of this educational institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Yousaf has emphasized the need for investment in education and expressed willingness to support potential development projects and exchange of students. Per his words; this will be the most important part of the mission of his country in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
