At the national championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina in table tennis for seniors, which took place on March 1st and 2nd, 2014 in Sarajevo, IUS student, Emina Hadžiahmetović, took first place making her the champion for the sixth time.
Emina won the competition without a single lost set, with a result of 4-0. Admir Duranspahić was the best in the men's category.
According to the general secretary of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian Table Tennis Association Sead Pasic, a record of 109 participants had registered to participate in the competition (80 in men and 29 in women's competition) out of 20 teams.
The National Championship also served selectors Vladimir Ivanek and Igor Mihajlovic for the selection of Bosnian and Herzegovinian representatives for the World Championship, which will be held from April 28th to May 5th, 2014 in Tokyo.
The Table-tennis Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina already reported six (3 for the men's and 3 for the women's competition) table-tennis players to the World Cup. Emina Hadžiahmetović will be one of them.
