The aim of this summer school is to contribute to the process of dealing with the past, reconciliation, and transitional justice approaches in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. By examining the way how and what we can learn from the past in order to confront the challenges in the present, IUS promotes the idea of education as an essential tool for reconciliation and an agent of positive societal change in a post-conflict country.

Overall aim of this summer school is to capitalize from the previous academic and professional work and research relating to dealing with the past transitional justice and reconciliation in post-conflict societies.

One of the participants of this summer school is Prof. Haris Halilović who only comes to Bosnia to participate in this project.

Rector of IUS gave special thank to Ms. Zuhal Guvener, director of IUS Life Long Center, senior assistant Nerkez Opačin, International Relations department of Faculty of Business and Administration, IUS Faculty of Law and all participants for the great organization.

During two weeks of summer school participants will have the opportunity to learn a lot of new things that will prepare them for the future challenges.
