On Thursday, 3rd April of 2014, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) hosted Mr. Jovan Divjak, director of Organization ''Obrazovanje gradi BiH''. During the conversation with Mr. Divjak, the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu emphasized that the University finds it very important to cooperate with the organizations which ensure support for young people during their education.
Mr. Divjak delivered a lecture ''Youth education and employment issues” at full amphitheater at International University of Sarajevo (IUS). He pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a truly prosperous young people but insufficiently developed system of education, lacking engagement of young people in practical activities or volunteering.
''I believe that International University of Sarajevo (IUS) has the capacity to stop negative trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina through its educational plan and program'', says Mr. Divjak at the end of his speech.
