On Monday, February 17, 2025, the International Relations Office (IRO) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) welcomed 20 students from France, Portugal, Turkey, Germany, and Spain. The orientation meeting covered various aspects of university life, including an overview of academic opportunities, the academic calendar, registration procedures, document processing, attendance policies, and the university's dress code.
IRO Manager, Mr. Mugdim Alihodžić, addressed the group and provided a detailed explanation of the residence permit process and how students can obtain their visas through university services. Additionally, Zerina and Amil from the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) shared insights on the extracurricular activities available to Erasmus students.
Following the presentations, a campus tour was conducted, visiting various university offices. The tour was joined by four Erasmus buddies—students who have previously completed their Erasmus programs and are now offering support to incoming students.
Overall, it was an informative and engaging session designed to help students transition smoothly into their new academic environment.
