International Relations Office of the International University of Sarajevo held a farewell meeting on Monday, June 13, 2022 for the incoming Erasmus+ students who spent their spring semester at IUS as exchange students. 23 students from Hungary, Turkiye, France, Poland, Ukraine and Spain had the opportunity to give feedback on their experiences of studying at IUS. The general impressions were very positive, and the students praised the University for its organization, coordination and communication both within IUS and with their home universities.
During their stay in Sarajevo, incoming exchange students were given a task to shoot a short video and present their experiences of being an exchange student at IUS. This task was organized in the form of a competition titled Treasure Hunt and the farewell meeting was used to announce the winner of the competition. The first prize for the best video was awarded to Theophane Schuester, a French student from the University of Technology Belfort, France, who received a symbolic gift – an IUS sweatshirt as memorabilia from his exchange semester.
At the end of the meeting, the students were handed their Certificates of Attendance, had group photo shooting and were presented with IUS gift bags.
