On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) hosted a FENS Talk organized by the FENS Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Altijana Hromić-Jahjefendić. The guest speaker was Mr. Haris Čapelj, IEEE Representative for Region 8, who introduced students to the numerous benefits and opportunities that IEEE offers.
During his talk, Mr. Čapelj highlighted the importance of IEEE membership for students, emphasizing access to professional networks, career development programs, research resources, and global competitions. He also discussed how IEEE can support young engineers and researchers in their academic and professional journeys. Moreover, he is also willing to provide more presentations to IUS students in the future.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to engage with a leading expert in the field and explore ways to enhance their academic and professional growth through IEEE.
