A unique and authentic exhibition representing the surrealist perspective of life in besieged Sarajevo was opened on March 9th 2016 on Wednesday in the Art Gallery of the International University of Sarajevo.

The exhibition "Room of her memories" was created in Sarajevo in 1993, in the building known as the "Loris", which was on the war front line between Grbavica and Hrasno. In the building during the war lived model Dragana Ristic and photographer Tošo Mitaševski. Because of its location the building was a military facility exposed to continuous combat. In the building during the war lived and a small number of civilians who did not want to go out of their apartments. From around 600 residents, who have lived in the building before the war, end the war, survived fewer than 40 residents. Photos of the exhibition are done in the period April-September 1993, and photographic sessions are repeatedly interrupted by sudden combat. As studios devastated apartments were used, and objects in the photographs were found in these ruined homes. Author wanted in a different way to show war through the story of a girl in the war, about her hopes and  expectations, and to show life before the war.

Dr. Lejla Panjeta, the organizer and the reviewer of the exhibition claims how this is an authentic display of hyper realistic experiences of surrealism of war in Sarajevo, through which with authors perspective is manifested aesthetics and documentary internal developments in unadulterated, yet artistically stylized thoughtful way in erosion of cruelty and senselessness of war.

The exhibition for the first time was placed in the Museum of Literature and Performing Arts "MAK" in 1993, and Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented in Qatar, Croatia and Macedonia.
