On Monday, December 22, 2025, students of the Visual Arts and Visual Communications Design (VACD) study program had the opportunity to attend an inspiring guest lecture delivered by professionals from Via Media, one of the leading marketing and communication agencies in the country.
The lecture was delivered by Ms. Sanela Tunović, PhD, PR Director at Via Media, and Mr. Amar Rahić, graphic designer and alumnus of the VACD study program. Drawing on their extensive professional experience, the speakers shared valuable insights into the realities of the creative industry, effectively bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world practice.
Organized within the Introduction to Visual Communication course, taught by Assistant Professor Dr. Emir Hambo, the guest lecture offered students practical perspectives on branding, visual storytelling, and professional workflows, while also highlighting career opportunities and expectations within the contemporary creative sector.
Guest lectures of this kind play an important role in enriching the educational experience of VACD students, strengthening ties between academia and industry, and motivating students to actively shape their future professional development.
