The representatives of the Agency for Supervision of Banks in Turkey and members of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mustafa Akın, and Mr. Erol Bektaş as well as the Vice President of the Agency, Mr. Murat Türker visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), on Thursday, September 26th, 2013
The Director of the Turkish Ziraat Bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Ali Riza Akbaş attended the meeting as well.
Distinguished guests were welcomed by the Rector of the International University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Adviser to IUS Rector, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hasan Korkut, the Coordinator for International Relations at IUS, Prof. Dr. Mesut Idris and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Çaksu, from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at IUS.
During the meeting, Rector Oğurlu informed the guests about the current educational capacities and plans of IUS as well as of its structure of students and professors.
Representatives of the supervision of banks in Turkey have expressed satisfaction with the progress of construction of the campus of the International University of Sarajevo and wished every success in the future work of IUS.
