Emina Šećerović – Kasli, journalist and author, gave a lecture at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014. The topic of the lecture was the author’s novel "The bullets have their own color". The novel was published in 2013 and received many positive reviews.
In her novel that was written in Turkish, Emina has described the true story of her childhood during the wartime she spent in Sarajevo. She expressed her short review of the novel with the audience and shared her most intimate memories about the wartime that she spent by explaining the reasons why she started writing the novel long after the war has ended.
