On 23.06.2012. in Cultural and Sports Center Bugojno, the 2. Memorial International Taekwondo Tournament "Tarik Ljubuškić-Tara" was held in memory of fallen police officers and friends of Tarik Ljubuškić. Taekwondo club IUS has participated with two athletes Burak Kılıç (68 kg) and Alper Urgun (68 kg), and they both won medals - one silver and one gold.
The competition was attended by 222 competitors from 18 clubs from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Turkiye. The competition is held under the rules of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), the European Taekwondo Union (ETU) and the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Taekwondo club IUS expressed special gratitude to the IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Özer Cınar, for outstanding support during the previous work of the Club as well as the coordinators of sporting activities, Musa Köse and Ismet Uzun.
