On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Assembly of Muslim Youth “WAMY”. WAMY is a non-governmental youth and student organization that supports the work of Muslim organizations and communities in need.
IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım and the Director of WAMY, Mr. Mohammad Yaser Sabbagh signed the MoU to promote mutual partnership and cooperation in research and education. Both parties pledged to organize joint activities, such as summer and winter schools, courses, seminars, workshops and study trips aiming at encouraging universal values and lifelong learning of the beneficiaries of the MoU.
Both parties are looking forward to organizing future events that would contribute to the academic development of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
