On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, a delegation of senior civil servants from Pakistan currently undertaking 118th National Management Course (NMC) at the National Management College Lahore (Pakistan) visited Bosnia and Herzegovina within their Foreign Study Tour (FST). During their visit, the Course participants, led by Mr. Nadeem Mahbub, NMC Director General visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) and the Balkan Studies Center (BSC).
The delegation was hosted by the IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım and Political Science (PS) Program Coordinator and Balkan Studies Center (BSC) Director, Prof. Dr. Muhidin Mulalić. They discussed future projects and common goals. The visiting delegation used this opportunity to ask questions and get more information about the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, processes of joining EU and NATO and their effects on the region.
At the end of the meeting, gifts were exchanged as a token of appreciation and future links between the two countries. The visit was concluded with a brief campus tour organized by the IUS University Communications Office (UCO).
