The IUS Sustainable Development Week "Think Globally, Act Locally" was organized at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) from December 4 - 8, 2023.
During this week, a series of events took place, from practical workshops and lectures by eminent experts on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to various student activities and exhibitions. The event was planned and organized by the IUS SDG Executive Committee.
From globalization, accelerated urbanization and huge technological progress, to the danger of conflict and climate change, there are many elements that have been discussed. The goal of this event was to educate and raise awareness of the SDGs among IUS students and employees, and to connect them with local stakeholders, in order to achieve common goals at the global level.
"With small but sure steps, we can achieve a lot together!", said the Commission.
