Read her story below!

Everybody has their own personal definition of success. I believe that success is a never-ending process as there is always room for improvement and that is exactly what has kept me grounded and motivated to keep pursuing my personal and professional goals. I usually prefer to focus on things I can change at that particular moment. Sometimes choosing gratitude for current success over pitting yourself over temporary failure is enough to keep you going and working.

I believe that all ambitious people still have that fear now and then; therefore, one simply has to embrace it. Writing plans to reach a desired goal also helps. Sometimes it is easier if we apply “step-by-step” approach. Carefully choose your field and check if your reasons behind choosing a particular study program reflect your true interests and desires. The one who wants to do something is hundred times stronger than the one who is obliged to do something!

IUS helped me become what I am now. International students and professors have widened my perspective on life and prepared me for work with people of different backgrounds. This might sound simple, but it is an important part in developing good social skills and a successful career. International Relations program at IUS offers interdisciplinary approach which enables students to personalize their studies based on their preferences and it makes studying much more interesting and goal oriented.  Unlike public universities, the IR program, as well as all other study programs at IUS are in English, which is a great advantage in this era of globalization.
