TİKA and IUS Life Launched Two Free-of-Charge Educational Programs

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), in cooperation with Lifelong Learning Centre of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS Life) started two free-of-charge courses at the IUS Campus, Microcontrollers, and Solidworks, 3D Modeling.

The two educational programs were launched on Aug 1, 2017, in presence of Mr. Ömer Faruk Alımcı, Coordinator of TİKA in Sarajevo, and Mrs. Mirsada Mehremić, representative of the IUS Life.

The courses are planned to be held at the IUS Campus from Aug. 1 to Sep.  15, 2017, and offered free of charge for all of the participants. Participants will attend Microcontrollers course at the IUS Research and Development Center, whilst Solidworks 3D Modelling course will take place at one of the University computer labs.  A total of 40 participants are registered for the programs, 20 for Microcontrollers, and 20 participants for Solidworks, 3D Modeling.  

The goal of these courses is to train participants for independent work from home, to provide them with the skills and competences which will help them to find employment or work as freelancers. The programs were open for general public, but will be particularly valuable for the unemployed. The program organizers also encouraged people with disabilities to apply and attend these courses.

Upon completion of the programs in which attendance and final examinations are mandatory, participants will be awarded IUS Life certificates on successful program completion.
