Three IUS scholars at INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF COVID-19

 

Three scholars from the International University of Sarajevo Prof. Dr. Emel Topcu (Social and Political Sciences Department), Assistant Professor Dr. Emine Yaman (Dean of Faculty of Education), and Senior Assist. Serap Fišo (Social and Political Sciences) presented their research findings, as a part of their Korona Academicians' project in the world’s first online INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF COVID-19. The conference was organized over SKYPE on June 12, 13, 14, 2020. in Istanbul/TURKIYE, under the auspices of highly respected President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and sponsorship of different universities from Turkey.

The Korona Academicians project which is designed as an online platform project to bring together Seven Female Academicians from the different geographical areas from Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to discuss the reflection on their rituals of daily life due to social isolation and to COVID-19, took part in the interdisciplinary conference. CONCOVID provided seven academicians with the opportunity to present, share and discuss their research findings, improvements, and alternative solutions to the global pandemic Covid-19 from different disciplines such as political science, philosophy, education, management, psychology, and anthropology.
