Testing for IUS Scholarships: 1400 BH Students Sat for Test

At its Scholarship Testing, International University of Sarajevo (IUS) offers young people a chance to get contemporary education in English as language of instruction, whilst also equipping students with skills that they need in order to become experts in their respective fields.

On Friday, March 29, starting at 2 p.m., International University of Sarajevo held its great Testing for Scholarships, and the right to sit for the test was given to all students graduating from high school this year, who are citizens of BiH or neighboring countries. The testing is organized annually at the IUS campus and offers BH students a chance to pursue their education at that university, by winning scholarships of Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF).

Scholarships are granted for the period of 5 years, and cover from 40% to 100% of the tuition. In case a student does not graduate in 5 years, the scholarship rate changes to 50% regardless of the initial rate. During those 5 years, only students with full, 100% scholarships are required to keep their academic achievement at a certain level, whilst recipients of other scholarships are not.

The grand Testing for Scholarships was attended by more than 1400 senior students from all over BiH and the region. Along with the testing the university also held its Open Day, in order to give all students who arrived to the testing, the parents, and teachers a chance to get information about its five faculties and 21 study programs.
