Summer School of Innovation 'GeekFEST 2014' started at IUS

The Summer School of Innovation 'GeekFEST 2014'  officially started its classes at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Monday, August 25th, 2014. This year School of Innovation gathered 40 students of  the third or fourth year of high school, from various cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. All participants have unique opportunity to attend a free five-day courses, in the field of computer science, all taught in English language.

School program  is focused on theoretical and practical work in laboratories where each participant has the opportunity to create his/her own project or collaborate on a joint one. At the end of the program all students will be able to present their works on the last day of classes. The theoretical part of the courses is taught by the IUS lecturers and also by experts in fields from leading IT companies and organizations in BiH.  

As part of the organization for all participants who do not come from Sarajevo, GEEKFEST has  provided free accommodation and food during the duration of the School. After completion of the school program, all participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance of the Summer School of Innovation 'GeekFEST 2014'.
