Students from France, USA, and Turkey Interns at IUS

International University of Sarajevo (IUS) is increasingly attracting attention of foreign students who wish to complete their internship at IUS. In the past year, several students from France, USA, and Turkey applied to one-month or longer internships at IUS, where they were given the opportunity to acquire new skills and experience of professional work. The realization of international student internships at IUS has been organized and coordinated by the International Relations Office at IUS.

In January 2017, Ms. Adela Ramović, psychology student of Colby College, Waterville, USA, was intern at the IUS Student Center for one month. She said: “Intership at IUS was an ideal opportunity for the start of my career, both in the sense of learning new things, and enhancing my research and creativity skills.”

Başak Günbay and Güliz Karaköse, students of English language and literature of prestigious TOBB University of Economics and Technology from Ankara, also came to IUS. They will be interns at the IUS from January to April. They are impressed with their new environment at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and said that they are very happy to have an opportunity to learn and work with the highly competent professors of the English Language and Literature Study program.

Last year, the five-month internship at the International Relations Office was completed by Julie Biez, the student of reputable Sciences-Po university in Paris.
