Students and Staff of VACD on Erasmus+ Exchange in Ireland

As part of strategic plan that includes further internationalization and strengthening of cooperation with universities in Western Europe, International University of Sarajevo (IUS) realized its first academic cooperation with a university in Ireland. The Erasmus+ agreement on partnership with the University of Limerick (UL) is related to the fields of arts, social sciences and humanities.

Starting from the spring semester this year, two students and two professors of the VACD will be given a chance for exchange and professional development at the UL. Two senior students with the highest GPA, Bedrija Šahbaz and Lamija Džafo, are going to spend a semester in Ireland. The IUS academic staff who will take part in the exchange are Assoc. Prof. Kenan Zekić and Senior Assistant Emir Hambo.

Through this Erasmus+ grant, there are new opportunities to develop and encourage new talent, to establish creative cooperation in terms of research, development and innovation, and to work on joint projects in future.
