Strengthening Cooperation with Universities from Poland

The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) had a very successful cooperation with the Polish universities during the past year, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Exchange Program. Thus, 12 students and 8 IUS staff members participated in study exchange or professional training at various universities in Poland. University of Applied Sciences in Nysa is one of the partners of IUS for exchange in the field of Computer Sciences.
As a part of the agreement on staff training, Mrs. Anna Opalka, Head of the Office for International Cooperation and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator of this reputable Polish University, visited IUS on August 14, 2017.
The representatives of International Relations Office of IUS used this visit to strengthen already existing cooperation in the field of Computer Sciences, and to extend it to the fields of Architecture, English Language and Literature and Business Administration. Furthermore, plans for future joint cooperation, joint scientific research projects and participation in international conferences have been discussed as well .

During her visit to IUS, Mrs. Opalka met with the Program Coordinator of Architecture program at IUS, Assist. Prof. Dr. Adnan Zoranić and the Head of the University IT Center, Mr. Enes Pivić.  Mr. Pivić visited University of Applied Sciences in Nysa through Staff Exchange Program in April 2017.
