Second Scholarship Testing - May 8, 2020

International University of Sarajevo is a higher education institution offering quality education to local and international students in three study cycles. Over the past years, the university has developed extensively and is one of the first in BiH to adapt its teaching to European standards. It is a common practice for the IUS to organize the largest scholarship testing in the country every year, giving all graduates an equal opportunity to receive a scholarship to study at this university. The Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo, as the founder of IUS, provides a large number of scholarships to all interested graduates every year.
The first of this year's testing took place on April 17, and was held online for the first time. Outputs have shown once again that young people in BiH are aware of the opportunities and conditions this institution provides for its students.
Due to the great interest in studying at one of the 21 study programs and the huge number of applications for the first test, the IUS administration has decided to give a second opportunity to all graduates who failed to take the first test. The second online testing will be held on Friday, May 8 starting at 3:00 pm.
Registration is required and will be open until May 6th at 11:59 pm.
Sudents who meet the following requirements are eligible to take the second test:
•    that they are BiH citizens or some of the countries in the region
•    that the students are in the final year of a four-year high school
•    that they have not previously participated in IUS testing
•    they must have a photo ID (ID, driver's license, passport) when taking the exam.

The test is not only a chance to win a scholarship; it is also an opportunity to show your knowledge and skills. The exam consists of general knowledge and mathematics questions.
The test result may have a maximum value of 50% of the final scholarship awarded, while the remaining 50% will be awarded based on high school success and extra-curricular and student sports activities. Certain students may be invited for an interview.
Under the new scholarship rule, scholarships are awarded for a period of 5 years. If the student does not graduate within this period, the scholarship is fixed at 50%, regardless of the starting value of the scholarship. The choice of study program when applying for a scholarship is final. Any subsequent change may or may not be subject to change in the amount of the scholarship. What is very important is that IUS adjusts the study rates, which will apply from the next academic year. See the prices in the table below.
