Scholarship Testing and Open Day – 29 March 2019

This year, IUS is once again organizing its great Scholarship Testing for all high school graduates from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighbouring countries.

The scholarship testing is not just a chance for students to win scholarships, but an opportunity to test their knowledge in mathematics and general knowledge, whilst the scholarships will be awarded based on the test results.

The lowest scholarship which student can win at the testing is 40% and the highest is 100% of the tuition fee.

In 2018, IUS awarded 1929 scholarships.

According to our latest rulebook on scholarships, scholarships are awarded for the period of 5 years. In case that the student does not graduate within 5 years, he/she continues his/her studies with a 50% scholarship, regardless of the initial percentage.

Only full (100%) scholarship students are required to keep their academic success on certain level, whilst other scholarship recipients are not. Only full scholarship students are exempt from paying the tuition fee for the Preparatory English Language School (ELS), whilst the other students pay full tuition fee for ELS.

Criteria for the candidates for the scholarship testing are as follows:

Candidates need to be fourth year students of high school.

They must have  citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovinia of any of the following countries: Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia.

They need to own an ID card or any other government issued document that has their photo (driving licence or passport) on the day of testing.

Candidates can sit for the testing only once, and must apply on official link. ( Link for applications: https://submission.ius.edu.ba/)

On the same day with Scholarship Testing the University is organizing its Open Day – the day when students get information about all study programs and faculties, and meet professors. Also, prospective students can get detailed information about exchange, mobility and internships.

This year too we provided more then 1000 scholarhips for you.

The testing is free of charge.

See you on March 29, 2019!
