RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation) Tools project (FP7) and Federal Ministry of Education and Science organized a workshop in Mostar

The RRI Tools projects aims to highlight the need for general public engagement in science, to encourage cooperation between all stakeholders in the process of research and innovation (research community, civil society organizations, educational communities, policy makers, businesses and industry) and to provide to all stakeholders practical tools to help align their work with the needs of society in an ethically acceptable and sustainable way.

The aims of the workshop were:

-  the introduction to various RRI concepts aspects and growing demand for RRI implementation in practice;

-  provision of practical guidelines for the implementation of RRI principles - introduction to RDI Tools platform and its capabilities;

-  networking of participants.

 

The workshop trainers were Katarina Anđelković and Đurđa Timotijević from the Center for the Promotion of Science, Republic of Serbia.

IUS academic, Assist. Prof. Dr. Jasminka Hasić Telalović was invited to participate in the workshop to deliver a lecture on good RRI practices that already exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The workshop was opened and attended by Federal Minister for Science and Technology dr.sc. Elvira Dilberović.
