Representatives of Ministry of Youth and Sports, and of Religious Affairs Administration Visited International University of Sarajevo (IUS)

On Tuesday, January 17, 2017, representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, together with the representatives of the Religious Affairs Administration of the Republic of Turkey visited IUS. At the meeting, present were: General Director of Youth Services Mr. Ahmet Uzak, Youth Sports Expert Şükrü Yılmaz, IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Tahsin Erkan Türe, Vice-Rector Assist. Prof. Dr. Faruk Berat Akçeşme, Education Coordinator of Religious Affairs Administration Mr. Mehmet Yasa, and Mustafa Dillioğlu, IUS graduate and the employee of the Religious Affairs. 

The representatives mentioned that they will travel to Romania and Azerbaijan afterwards, and added: ‘‘Many Turkish students are interested in visiting this place and we came to make this dream come true.’’ The purpose of the visit was to develop future projects between the IUS, Religious Affairs Administration and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and to strengthen this business cooperation through an exchange program for Bosniak and Turkish students in our institutions, in the area of higher education.

During the meeting, IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Tahsin Erkan Türe informed the guests about the planned activities in future and introduced them with the academic and student structure of the University, its recognition and promotion in the Balkans and Europe.
