On Friday, April 18, 2014, the representatives of the HEYU Leisure Holidays Corporation (HLHC) from the People's Republic of China visited the International University of Sarajevo. Distinguished guests were welcomed by IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and the Coordinator of the IUS Leadership and entrepreneurship center (LEC), Asst. Prof. Dr. Senad Bušatlić.
The reason for their visit to IUS was their written Letter of Intent, that will lead to signing the Memorandum of Understanding in the next 60 days, between rectors, which will allow the organization of international scientific conferences and enrollment of students from Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China, at the undergraduate and graduate studies of the International University of Sarajevo. At the end of the meeting, both Rectors agreed to sign Agreement of mutual cooperation of IUS LEC and UNINP BC.
The representatives of the HEYU Leisure Holidays Corporation (HLHC) were: Ang Ban Siong (Group Managing Director), Roger Haw Boon Hong (Chairman cum Independent Non-executive Director), Janet Ong Lay Hoon (Independent Non-executive Director) and Stephen Truly Busch (Non-executive Director). They stated that their intention is to open new work positions for employment for young IUS graduates and alumni, and thereby provide an opportunity for further education and work in the People's Republic of China.
