Professors Meissa Kinnear, Peter Newton and Alex Towler from Architecture program of the Oxford Brooks University in Oxford (England) and their 25 students, visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Friday October 30, 2015. This visit was organized at the initiative of assistant from Architecture program of IUS, Lejla Dizdarević, in coordination with the International Relations Office and the Public Relations Office of IUS. The hosts were professors and assistants from IUS Architecture program. During their stay, IUS professor Adnan Zoranić gave a lecture to students in the IUS main amphitheater on city development through the prism of socio-economic aspects. Students from Oxford together with IUS students presented their research and potential examples of city development and uses of urban space. They also discussed the possibility of intensifying cooperation between IUS and Oxford Brooks University through exchange programs for students and professors.
