Prof. Dr. Meliha Teparić gave a lecture at a summer school in Berlin

At the invitation of artist and Professor Mary Sherman from Boston College, Prof. Dr. Meliha Teparić from VACD was invited to hold Artist's Talk to students at the summer school in Berlin. Dr. Teparic held a lecture on "Contemporary Art Practices in Post-War Bosnia and Herzegovina". Within a five-day stay, Dr. Teparic attended a lecture by a prominent professor at the Harvard University and director of the Cultural Agents Initiative at Harvard University, Doris Sommer, The work of art in the world: A case for culture, held at Freie Universitat Berlin. This lecture is part of Thematic Network principles of Cultural Dynamic, founded at the Freie Universität Berlin, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and Dr. Teparic met with the director and leader of this program, Joachim Küpper. At the evening, there was a talk of       “ Strengthening transitional cooperation in humanities, the Comparative Thought and Literature program at Johns Hopkins University, the Humanities Research Institute at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales ( EHESS), Paris”.

Prof. Teparic also met with the German artist Regina (Maria) Möller on the evening.
