On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, Brigadier General Marti J. Bissel, Commander and Senior Military Representative at NATO Headquarters - Sarajevo, held a lecture at International University of Sarajevo (IUS), titled: “Why is NATO Integrations process important for BiH?”
Rector of International university of Sarajevo and Brigadier General Bissel gave statements to a large number of media representatives, and the president of student parliament of IUS Ismail Ćidić also gave a statement.
In her presentation, Brigadier General Bissel talked about the course of the events related to the BiH integrations in NATO, about the current relations between BiH and NATO, to which point BiH came in the process to become a member, and why is membership in the alliance important and beneficial to BiH.
After the lecture, IUS students, especially the students of political science and international relations, as well as other present guests, had a chance to take active part in the lecture and ask a number of questions.
