On December 13, a group of students following courses EE323 Illumination Techniques and ARCH356 Landscape Design had the privilege to visit the company BEKTO PRECISA in Gorazde, in eastern part of Bosnia.
The trip was lead by Assistant Prof. Emir Karamehmedović and Senior Assistant Nerma Harbinja.
Around 40 students got a tour of the factory producing plastic items for a range of applications. Besides an impressive fan of products for automobile, sports and electric industry, the company manufactures and assembles lighting in cooperation with the company Hella.
The students were introduced to the remarkable manufacturing processes, shown the modern machines and the resulting final products of extremely high quality.
The company organized a very interesting presentation, told about possibilities for employment there, and expressed interest and readiness to offer projects as well as internships to qualified students.
