IUS Staff on Exchange at John Paul II Catholic University

Azra Bičo, lecturer of the Economics program, and Dr. Peter Plenta, Head of Department of International Relations, participated in the Erasmus+ academic exchange at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in Poland. A member of the IUS administrative staff, Melina Ahmetović, also took part in the exchange with this university, which were all realized in May 2017.

Melina Ahmetović had an opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ staff mobility week, which was on the topic of training in the framework of Erasmus+. She said: “The content of the staff mobility week was excellent, as well as the training and experience in terms of learning, sharing experiences, finding possible solutions for barriers in mobility programs and making possibilities for cooperation with other universities all over the world.”

The cooperation between the John Paul II Catholic University and the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) started last year, and there have been plans to expand the scope of cooperation. Six students of IUS are currently at this university, also as part of the exchange program.
