IUS signed the MoU with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)

On Thursday, April 18th, 2019, International University of Sarajevo signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM).

IUS rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yildirim and Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Research Prof. Dr. Sehabeddin Taha Imeci welcomed the IIUM delegation led by rector of IIUM Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dzulkifli Abdul Razak.

International University of Sarajevo and International Islamic University Malaysia IIUM then signed the Memorandum of understanding between those two institutions in order to set fort the intentions for collaboration, cooperation and interaction, to strengthen scholarly and cultural ties between the two institutions for their mutual benefit.

The MoU will enable joint organization of conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops, cultural activities, and educational programs in the area of lifelong learning. In terms of friendship and exchange, this MoU demonstrates the intention to establish student and staff exchange between the two institutions.

After signing the MoU, IIUM rector Tan Sri Dzulkifli Abdul Razak met with IIUM alumnus at IUS. It was a chance to reflect on their studying and time spent in Malaysia. It was an opportunity to show the rich mosaic of IUS employees who studied and lived abroad, and brought their knowledge and experience to enrich the family of IUS.
