On Thursday, November 24, 2016, IUS Quality Assurance Office organized the first Workshop related to the syllabus design. The speaker was the IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Tahsin Erkan Türe.
This workshop was the first of the envisaged series of workshops, which will be covering the topics related to enhancing quality at the IUS.
During his speech, IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Tahsin Erkan Türe, has further clarified all the points of development and communication plan and activities that will take place at IUS in the future. Sixty IUS academic staff participated in the workshop. One of the ideas was that IUS needs to introduce DMS which can be designed by in-house IT Department resources.
Attendees discussed the following topics:
- Syllabus structure,
- Learning outcomes and their relation to the assessment,
- Relation of the learning outcomes to the ECTS.
Rector accentuated the current situation analysis, and on that occasion he said that even our university is the best private university in BiH, we can give more effort to make it even better.
